  • What is Lulla Kids?
Lulla Kids is an Android app with 500 games and lessons for children aged 1–6, starring the 50 mascots of Lulla, the baby-sleep app. It has no ads, needs no account, and the games work offline. The parent sets a daily time limit. 18 games are free; Premium is a monthly subscription or a one-time payment.
  • What age is Lulla Kids for?
For children aged 1–6. Children aged 1–2 play alongside a parent; bear in mind that the WHO does not recommend screen time under age 2 (see our screen time advice for each age). Difficulty matches their age: how many choices are on screen, how high they count and how many rounds a game has.
  • What's free and what do I pay for?

18 games are free forever. Premium unlocks all 500 games and lessons, plus those added later:

    • monthly: the first 7 days free for new subscribers, then 25.99 lei / €4.79 a month; the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play;
    • lifetime: a single payment of 159.99 lei / €29.99, with no subscription.

The final price is the one Google Play shows in your currency. There's no yearly plan.

  • Does it have ads?
No. Lulla Kids has no ads and doesn't need an account. If you're comparing apps, see how to check a kids' app for ads.
  • Does it work without internet?
Yes. The games are already on the phone and work without the internet, so the app works in the car and on a plane too. The narrator uses the phone's text-to-speech voice, though: before a trip, open the phone's text-to-speech settings and check that the voice for the chosen language is downloaded, or the narrator may stay silent offline. You also need internet to download the app and to buy Premium, both through Google Play, and for the optional account.
  • How does the time limit work?
At first launch you choose how long your child plays each day, and you can change the limit anytime in the grown-ups' area. When time's up, the friends go to sleep; a grown-up can give extra time. The app also shows you the WHO recommendation: at ages 2–4, no more than one hour of screen time a day, in total, and less is better; none under age 2. If stopping is hard for your child, see our tips for ending screen time with fewer tears.
  • What data does the app collect?
Without an account or a purchase, the app sends us nothing: it has no ads or analytics tools, and the games work offline. Your child's profile (first name, what they like, your goals, the chosen friend) is saved only on the phone, is excluded from Android backup and can be deleted in the grown-ups' area. Progress and settings (for example age and the daily limit), without a name, may be included in Android backup if the phone's backup is turned on; Google keeps that copy in your Google account. The parent account is optional: if you create one, a copy of the progress, settings and plan is kept in it, on servers in the EU, until you delete it. Payments are processed by Google Play, and RevenueCat keeps our purchase records. Details in the privacy policy.
  • Do I need to create an account?
No. Every game works without an account. The parent account is optional: with an email and password or with Google, it keeps the progress, settings and your child's plan so you can bring them to another phone, and you can delete it any time (see deleting the account). Premium is not tied to it: the purchase stays with your Google account: you get it back with Restore purchases, in the grown-ups' area.
  • Which languages is it in?
English, Romanian, Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil). You change the language in the app.
  • Who reads out the instructions?
A narrator reads every instruction aloud, using the text-to-speech voice chosen in the phone's settings, so the voice depends on the phone. We don't use recorded voices.
  • What notifications will I get?
Only notifications for you, the parent, and only if you turn them on: an idea for home after play, a summary of the week on Sundays and a reminder before the first subscription payment. None of them is addressed to your child, and your child's name doesn't appear on the lock screen.
  • How do I cancel the subscription?
In Google Play: in the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lulla Kids → Cancel subscription. Or go straight to the Google Play subscriptions page. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • What does “Lifetime Premium” mean?
A single payment of 159.99 lei / €29.99, with no subscription and no renewal. It unlocks all 500 games and lessons, plus those added later. “Lifetime” means Premium stays unlocked with no further payments for as long as you use Lulla Kids with the Google account you bought it with, not your lifetime or your child's. If we ever stop offering the app, we'll tell you at least 12 months in advance. Premium is tied to the Google account you bought it with: on another Android phone with the same account, use Restore purchases in the grown-ups' area. The final price is the one Google Play shows in your currency. Details in the Terms.
  • Which phones does it work on?
Lulla Kids is for Android 8.0 or newer only, through Google Play. There's no iPhone version.
  • How is it related to Lulla?
Lulla Kids and Lulla, the baby sleep app (Android and iOS), are sister apps, with the same 50 friends.
